No trombone oil. You could be the best maker of trombone oil in the
world, but there will still be only 65 gallons used each year in the
whole world. You can be the best of something so small but the rest of
the world doesn’t care. Know your priorities.

Jim: Be on time. People are too caught up with being fashionably late.
John: Be optimistic, be kind, be honest. Be positive! Give energy! Give honest, constructive feedback.
Jim: Work for a company that promotes a good work-life balance.
John: Work for a company where you respect its values.
